Firewood Processor/ Yard Operative

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Firewood Processor and Forklift/Telehandler Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing firewood, operating forklifts and telehandlers, and ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of our facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for working outdoors and handling heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain a firewood processor to cut, split, and bundle firewood.

Safely operate forklifts and telehandlers for moving firewood, logs, and other materials within the yard.

Ensure all equipment is kept in good working order and report any maintenance needs.

Assist with the loading and unloading of materials.

Monitor and maintain safety standards at all times on-site.

Work as part of a team to meet production targets.

Keep work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience operating a firewood processor, forklift, and telehandler.

Valid forklift and telehandler certification (or willing to obtain).

Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy items.

Prior experience preferred but training will be given.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
