One of the first purpose-built hotels in Europe, Queens Hotel was built on the site of the original Sherborne Spa, and became used as suitable accommodation for the nobility and royalty who visited Cheltenham to restore, renew and revive.

Our Opportunity

Standard shift pattern: 23:00 - 0730am

Working five nights out of seven, you’ll be the welcoming face our guests see when they arrive late and the reassuring presence throughout the night. As a night team member, you'll be responsible for ensuring a smooth and secure operation of the hotel during overnight hours, as well as assisting guests with any needs they may have.

Key duties include:

- Offering a warm welcome and fond farewell to all guests
- Managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently and professionally
- Handling guest enquiries, requests, or issues with confidence and care
- Performing end-of-day financial reporting and auditing tasks
- Ensuring the safety, security, and smooth running of the hotel overnight

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous night audit or front office experience in a hotel environment
- Confident working independently and handling overnight responsibilities
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) is highly desirable
- A natural problem solver with excellent communication skills
- Immaculate personal presentation and a warm, professional demeanour
- The ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
