We are currently recruiting for a full-time Driver to join our team based in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a ‘family feel’ team and become an integral part of the company.
**Driver - Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Delivery of goods throughout the day
- Loading and unloading at customer sites
- Obtaining PODs for all deliveries
- Packing and palletising of goods fit for transport when required
- Cleaning of workshop and yard if required
- Vehicle checks & maintenance
- General labouring/housekeeping duties
- Ensuring company processes and procedures are followed
- Undertaking similar duties as directed
**Role Requirements**:
- Full, clean, Driving License held for a minimum of 3 years
- Being computer literate would be an advantage
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Forklift and overhead crane trained is desirable, however, training can be provided
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Customer service orientated
- Good understanding of housekeeping practices
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Familiar in working with quality, health and safety, and environmental standards
- A natural team player
