**The Company**
A new role of Environmental Sustainability Manager is now available at this world class elite US law firm, leading the Firm’s environmental sustainability efforts globally. Operating globally in all continents, this group has built an enviable reputation fordelivering cross-border and multi-jurisdictional services across a broad range of business sectors, geographies & vertical markets, on behalf of a portfolio of corporate industrial clients, governments and banking & financial institutions.**This isa unique opportunity to be part of a growing function** operating within a global team and making a real and valid impact on the business. You will chair an Environmental Sustainability Committee and work globally across a variety of functions.

**Key Responsibilities** of the Environmental Sustainability Manager
- Drive the development and implementation of the Firm’s environmental sustainability goals and strategy for its operations and supply chain
- Lead the annual greenhouse gas emissions assessment for the Firm’s operations
- Provide expertise and support for office managers, the Workplace Design team and the Global Sourcing and Procurement team to identify and implement environmental best practices to achieve the Firm’s emissions reduction goals
- Track and report performance versus goals, including vs. science-based targets, internally and externally
- Provide responses to environmental performance questions from clients and engage directly with client sustainability teams
- Build support and engagement among partners, other lawyers, business services professionals
- Collaborate with the Communications and Media Relations teams on internal and external communications regarding sustainability performance, including on the Firm’s intranet, website, social media, and presentations for key events

**Skills & Attributes** of the Environmental Sustainability Manager
- BSc/BA Degree in Sustainability or equivalent
- Expertise in sustainability management, including GHG emissions assessment, science-based targets, and best practices in operations, reporting, sourcing and procurement
- 3+ years of relevant experience in sustainability strategy and reporting
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
