We are a small village store that employs 15 staff (near Rockcliffe Hall)

The job role requires a person who is self motivated and able to be on their feet throughout their shift

Our shifts range from a minimum of 5-8 hours a day ( Monday-Sunday)

Store opening hours 7am-8pm Monday-Sunday

Every member of staff is expected to work either a Saturday or Sunday shift per week

A minimum of 16 hours is available, however after training this can increase to 25hours and more

Transport - You must have own transport and live near the vicinity (No public transport)

**Responsibilities**:

- Meet and greet customers and give a good impression of the store
- Sell financial and retail products and services to meet targets
- Sell stamps and deal with letters and parcels
- Pay out pensions and benefits
- Accept bill payments
- Deal with vehicle registrations and car tax
- Sell travel insurance and foreign exchange
- Complete admin tasks and follow security rules
- Arrange merchandise, stock shelves, manage store displays and ensure all areas are clean and neat

- To be thorough and pay attention to detail
- The ability to sell products and services
- Good maths and money handling skills
- To be able to use a computer and main software packages competently
- Strong problem-solving abilities
