**Sales Assistant (Keyholder) - West Midlands Retail Outlet**

**20 hours per week - Flexible hours in line with the needs of the retail business**

**We are recruiting for a Key Holder position 20 hours per week contract at our store at the West Midlands Retail Outlet. Situated in the popular shopping and food & drink outlet, this store is expected to be very popular with local residents as well as shoppers and tourists from across the region.**

**Our stores are often very busy with customers browsing their favourites as well as new discoveries. If you love the buzz of a busy store where you can engage with customers on the salesfloor and keep up with the fast selling stock, then this is the right role for you.**

**Working Hours**:
Your work pattern will be flexible to match the needs of the retail business. You will have advanced notice of your working rota in store. As a keyholder you will have some opening and closing shifts as part of your work pattern. There will be times where the manager is off shift. During these times, Keyholders are responsible for ensuring daily tasks are completed with the team on shift.

**Our Mix that awaits you**:
**Customer Service**:

- Deliver the Haribo standards of customer service
- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Sampling activities in and out of store
- Process cash and card payments at the till

**Retail Standards**:

- Deliver the Haribo standards of retail excellence
- Ensure Haribo retail standards are maintained at the beginning and throughout the day
- Products are correctly replenished, displayed and priced
- Promotional items and offers are visible to customers and actively sold
- Undertake daily cleaning duties within the store

**Operational Standards**:

- Deliver the Haribo standards of operational excellence
- Stock is replenished, counted, rotated and recorded correctly. This includes our off site storage location and moving stock between the storage area and the store. The work is physical and includes movement off stock/deliveries. (training provided for over 18s, under 18s can complete other tasks in store).
- Comply with company standards in Health & Safety, providing a safe environment for colleagues and customers
- Understand and comply with the requirements of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and the Environmental Permit as part of day to day activities
- Complete food hygiene and handling training, ensure all food hygiene processes are followed and records completed

**The Ingredients you bring with you**:

- Previous retail experience is essential
- Online retail experience would also be beneficial
- Experience handling cash and processing card payments
- A desire to provide excellent customer
- The ability to communicate well at all levels, being helpful and approachable
