You will be a team player who takes pride in your work while forging great relationships with residents, staff and contractors.

**Your Core Functions will include;**
- Perform regular checks, carry out repairs and, when needed, contact engineers or service agents.
- Maintain assigned tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability in a safe operating condition.
- Report faults and follow through to get them actioned promptly.
- Keep grounds looking tidy and carry out general redecoration work.
- Repair furniture, the fabric of the building and furnishings within your ability maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
- Coordinate with skilled tradesmen and/or assigned supervisor(s) so that tasks or projects are completed efficiently.
- Document activities as part of what has been done or to aid in conveying information consistent with current legislation.
- Maintain tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability in a safe operating condition.
- Proactively keep an eye out to identify what works may need to be done within the home and liaise with line managers to get them done.
- Help out with the transportation of supplies or residents to and from activities or appointments when needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
