Junior Technician

Location: Runcorn

**Salary**: £24,000

Our client is looking for a junior technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career with a company who are looking to develop staff’s skills.

In this role you will ensure that all machines, ancillaries, tools, jigs, die sets are maintained to a functional standard and operate within the required specifications. You will undertake the training of staff, in the maintenance/production processes,promote safe working practices in line with the Company Environmental and Health & Safety policy, support the management team.

The hours for this position are Monday - Friday working on a rotating shift basis of 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00.

Responsibilities include:

- Maintenance of machinery and auxiliary plant
- Working with R and D department on continuous improvement tasks
- Review and improve preventive maintenance tasks
- Work in line with health and safety requirements
- Working alongside the production team leader to ensure that all operators are working in line with requirements.
