**Sales Administrator**

**Chirk, Wrexham - Export focused engineering company**

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm (4:30pm Friday) with 1 hour lunchbreak.

As a niche engineering and sales organisation we have a global reputation, customer base and manufacturing supply partners.

Full product training and support will be provided.

**Overall Responsibilities include**:

- Dealing with existing customer enquiries and processing their orders
- Researching markets and identifying new potential customers
- Contacting potential customers to win new business
- Building good working relationships with all members of the team

**Job brief**

We are looking for a Sales and Customer Service Administrator to identify and develop new sales leads, as well as responding to and managing existing customers

Sales to B2C customers will require listening to their requirements and guiding them through the product range on the website and the steps of identifying the best solution to meet their needs.

Sales to B2B customers will require an analysis of their existing product usage and identification of the most appropriate alternatives.

**Responsibilities**
- Taking general administrative calls in a busy office environment
- To develop the skills to negotiate on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers and liaise with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
- Record sales and order information and sending copies to the warehouse, or entering figures into a computer system
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions and customer visits
- Feed future market opportunities and buying trends back to employers
- Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
- The goal is to support the timely, cost-effective and profitable completion of customer orders.
- Keep accurate records

**Requirements**:

- Minimum five years customer service or sales related experience in technical or ideally engineered products or services
- Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings
- Ability to understand basic technical specifications of material and products
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Well-organized with multi-tasking abilities
- Confident in general IT use and standard Microsoft packages
- Full driving license
- A foreign language skill would be of additional value
- Working knowledge of Sage 200 or similar an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £20,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 1 year (required)
- B2B sales: 1 year (preferred)
