As an **Senior Commissioning & Procurement Officer**you’ll play a vital role in**competently leading and delivering re-commissioning and the procurement function of a new potential supported living service for people with severe learningdisabilities or autism, providing 24/7 registered domiciliary care and housing management services.**

**About the role**

Based in**Barnet**you will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives including:

- Ensuring that bespoke service commissioning and procurement strategy is developed in line with organisational and whole system priorities:

- Ensuring compliance with procurement legislation, Council procedures and other relevant guidance
- Providing expert advice and manage risk in the implementation of new service models
- Developing quality standards, specifications and tender documents in consultation with partners, service users, carers, and providers, and ensure a Hertfordshire County

**About you**
- Experience of working in social care setting
- Experience in commissioning, service design and procurement
- Experience in developing procurement approaches to best meet objectives whilst seeking innovation, making savings and delivering value for money
- Experience in sourcing, tendering and evaluation techniques
- Experience of working in a complex partnership setting
- Experience in engaging effectively with the social care provider market
- Strong evidence of effectively planning, managing and prioritising work and meeting tight deadlines
- Experience of project management and working across multi-disciplinary teams and boroughs

**What’s on offer**
- **Salary: £270-£350 per day Inside IR35**
