**JOB- Mechanical Fitter**
**LOCATION- Somerset**
**TERM- Permanent**
**SALARY- £24,000 - £27,000 per annum dependent on experience**
**The Mechanical Fitter will ideally have the following attributes**:

- 1-3 years’ or more of similar Mechanical Engineering experience
- Hands-on standard of working / problem solving skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and paying great attention to detail
- Experience in testing
- Energetic and self-motivated
- Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team

**The Mechanical Fitter role will involve**:

- Hands on mechanical fitting on a day-to-day basis
- Following manufacturing instructions and following processes
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Maintaining tooling reports
- Following company Health and Safety guidelines / procedures
- Training and mentoring apprentices as required
