In this role you will provide the quality assurance, environmental, health & safety administration and laboratory service to the team in Fibrisol. You will make sure customer’s demands for QHSE documentation are met, and internal processes are satisfied.**The main duties and responsibilities are**:

- To deal with customer requests for self-assessment questionnaires, by sending out the latest version of the prepared quality statement, or in exceptional circumstances, by completing the customers’ own format. To advise QHSE Manager of any shortfalls.
- Maintain the Supplier Assurance database - collating questionnaires, filing essential information, e.g. HACCP Plans, Certificates, Policies, Insurance, MSDS, Specifications, etc. To advise QHSE Manager of gaps in data supplied.
- Prepare, in conjunction with the Technical Manager, any specifications required by customers. This includes both products made at Acton, and elsewhere under FSL agreements, and other traded products. Specifications may be in Fibrisol or customers’ own format. To advise QHSE Manager or deputy of any shortfalls - either in information available or ability to meet deadlines.
- Be responsible for the collation of information of Waste Packaging return, via a compliance scheme. To liaise with the Company Secretary for past annual data; to attend compliance scheme meetings to keep abreast of current requirements.
- Carry out internal audits for traceability, prerequisite, vertical audits [for procedural & HACCP compliance, product inspections & occasional GMP audits.
- Cover for Laboratory Assistant and Technical Administrator in case of absence and to assist with additional laboratory duties [e.g. mini-mixes].
- Run the stock inspection report, to ensure that both raw materials and finished products are positively released. This report to be run twice daily; additionally releases may be made on request.
- File incoming Supplier Certificates of Conformity/Analysis, either physically or electronically. These may be required by customers.
- Check pre-printed Certificates of Conformity for accuracy, to designate recipient and prepare a Certificates of Analysis.
- Operate the QA Results database, including the physical filing of laboratory results.

**Your profile**
- Excellent knowledge of functional ingredients in the meat segment
- 5+ years of industry experience in sales and/ or technical support in the meat processing industry
- Good administration, communication and IT skills
- Experience in Food Quality, Safety Management System
- Education in Food Science, Chemistry, or other related discipline
