Ernest Doe is the UK's largest Agricultural, Construction and Groundcare machinery dealership, turning over £140m per annum from 19 locations across the South and East of England.

We are currently looking for a Parts & Gas Delivery Driver to join the existing team at our Braintree branch, based in Essex.

The purpose of this role will be to deliver Calor Gas and other items from our busy parts department, as well as assisting in the Showroom when required and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service at all times.

**Main Responsibilities**:
v Collect and deliver Calor Gas as required to a range of customers

v Maintain a clean, tidy and safe vehicle

v Liaise with customers and suppliers as required

v Positively promote the Company image and its products

v Dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis, both face to face and over the phone

**Role Requirements**:
v ADR licence is desirable

v Enjoy working in a busy atmosphere and can cope under pressure during busy periods

v Loading and unloading items from the vehicle

v Full driving licence is required

v Forklift licence is advantageous

v Smart, clean and tidy appearance as is a customer facing role

v Excellent customer service skills as dealing with members of the public and visiting their homes

v Good communication skills both verbal and written

v A team player-capable of working alone or with other team staff, but also able to use own initiative

v Maintain a good general level of health and fitness (be able to lift gas cylinders)

**Additional Information**

Location: Braintree, Essex, CM7 2QS

Hours: 39hrs per week basic - 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch)

Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours per week

Contract: Permanent, Full Time, Hourly Paid

**Salary**: £Competitive, depending on experience
