Academics Ltd are currently working on behalf of a Secondary school in Newbury, West Berkshire who are currently recruiting for a graduate teaching assistant to join them as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for a graduate or experienced teachingassistant to develop their experience within education as a teaching assistant with the opportunity to complete teacher training. A graduate with a degree graded 2:1 or above is ideal for this Teaching Assistant role, whilst graduates with some previous experienceworking with children is desirable. If you have experience in childcare, tutoring, nursery assistance, in a sport setting, charity or in a similar classroom setting then this would be the ideal role for you also.

This Secondary school is looking for committed and bright graduates who are passionate about their input into a child's education to join as a Teaching Assistant. The graduate appointed will be supporting the children in their numeracy and literacy withinKey Stage 3, 4, and 5 as a graduate Teaching Assistant. You may also be working with a small group of students or on a 1:1 level with an individual.

This is a fantastic platform for aspiring teachers to gain valuable experience as a teaching assistant in preparation for completing their teacher training the following year. This is a teacher training school meaning that successful Teaching Assistantscan consequently be enrolled on to the School's Direct Teacher Training Route.

A graduate with a strong educational background is required for this role including GCSE's in Maths and English (C or above).
