Our client is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team. They are situated in prestigious offices with good facilities, have onsite parking and are easily accessible by public transport. This is a fully office based role, working withinan engaging fun working team. Within this role you will be responsible for growing a set of existing customers, and identifying and developing new ones. The company have a widespread mix of customers, and therefore for the most part the Account Managers will fulfil the needs of their customers in terms of bidding, pricing, ordering, and delivering. There is a mixture of "run rate" business to maintain andgrow, along with bidding and securing larger orders through the development of your pipeline by working with key vendors. This is not a commission based role, however there yearly profit share bonus. **Responsibilities**: - To develop a broad knowledge of our products, customers, and suppliers in order to maintain and grow sales and client base - To interpret customer requirements and provide quotations accordingly - To progress bids/quotations in a timely fashion - To grow your "share of wallet" with a customer - To process and manager customer orders - To check customer order paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and compatibility - To manage and allocate stock to project orders when it arrives from suppliers - To organise and follow up customer deliveries - and resolving issues that arise - To maintain a database of customer and prospective customer contacts - To expand our customer database by obtaining new customer contacts within existing customer accounts and new prospective customers - To use company computer systems including MS Office and Apostle (ERP System). **Required skills and experience**: - Proven success within sales or account management role - The ability to develop relationships with the contacts within our customers and suppliers - A confident telephone manner and able to communicate effectively - The ability to understand the basics of technical products - A high level of accuracy and attention to detail - A good level of knowledge within Microsoft Office suite - A good level of numeracy and literacy **Please note**:
