You will lead the execution of complex, cross-business projects where regulatory, legal, and commercial considerations intersect, acting as a strategic integrator across Bloomberg's global business functions. Why This Role Matters Issues such as data governance, ESG standards, digital finance, and licensing no longer fit neatly within single teams or jurisdictions. This role ensures Bloomberg remains agile, coordinated, and focused on delivery as these areas increasingly converge - helping the business anticipate change, manage risk, and seize opportunities at the intersection of policy and commerce. This role will work closely with senior leaders across Legal, Compliance, Product, Sales, and Engineering, as well as regional External Relations colleagues in key jurisdictions. We'll Trust You To Drive and Deliver Strategic Projects Lead the execution of high-value, cross-functional initiatives where regulatory, legal, and commercial issues converge. Translate strategic priorities into actionable project plans, ensuring delivery against defined objectives, timelines, and outcomes. Establish governance structures, monitor milestones, and report progress to senior leadership. Identify and resolve barriers to delivery and maintain accountability across teams. Operationalise Cross-Functional Coordination Build structured collaboration frameworks across External Relations, Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Sales. Define ownership, scope, and success measures for each initiative. Implement consistent processes for communication, documentation, and decision-making to ensure projects move efficiently from planning to completion. Deliver Market and Policy Intelligence Monitor global policy, regulatory, and market developments in areas such as data governance, ESG, financial regulation, and licensing. Analyse implications for Bloomberg's commercial and regulatory strategies, producing clear, actionable recommendations. Prepare concise briefings and insight materials for senior leadership and client-facing teams. Support Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate Bloomberg's engagement on complex, cross-cutting issues requiring unified messaging and strategic alignment. You'll Need to Have 10+ years' experience leading or delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives in a corporate, regulatory, or policy environment. Proven record of execution - from concept development through implementation, tracking, and results reporting. Experience managing governance processes, project workstreams, and stakeholder alignment across multiple business units. Strong understanding of global policy, regulatory, and market dynamics, particularly those affecting data, finance, and technology sectors. Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality analysis, briefings, and communications for senior decision-makers. Experience engaging with external stakeholders, including regulators, policymakers, or trade associations.
