West Sussex Office Furniture Ltd (WSOF) is a leading manufacturer of office and educational furniture, based in a 12,000 sq ft factory near Chichester in West Sussex. The company supplies high-quality, FIRA-tested educational furniture, including laboratory furniture, to schools, colleges, academies, and universities. WSOF also produces a wide range of residential furniture for student accommodations. The office furniture division works closely with selected business partners to deliver bespoke solutions for office spaces. WSOF is committed to sourcing timber products from legal and well-managed sources, as evidenced by their suppliers' PEFC chain of custody certification.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Supervisor located in Chichester. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including some packaging, vehicle loading, and collating of orders. Additional responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment. The role includes coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders.

Qualifications

  • Supervisory Skills would be an advantage
  • Experience in vehicle loading
  • Proficiency in Material Handling and Inventory Control
  • Forklift Operation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus
