We at Go2gas Solutions Ltd started 8 years ago from the two owners who are time served engineers, on the road to become a multi award winning company working within the Home Emergency Insurance industry, currently carrying out in excess of 40,000 callouts each year for some of the largest Insurance companies in the world and proud service partners with Ariston and ATAG, covering installation and warranty work across their market leading product range.
We are seeking skilled Gas Engineers to join our team. You will be responsible for the repair, and maintenance of gas appliances and systems. The candidate ideally will have a good knowledge of boiler breakdowns and heating wiring experience although training and support will be given. To those who show a willingness to learn and go the extra mile we also are strong believers in investing in people and have many long standing engineers who have gained further qualifications in LPG, Air Source, Oil, G3 (unvented). We will provide you with everything you need to fulfil the role, a fully stocked van, company uniform, gas analyser and company Iphone.
Supported by the back office with years of experience in the industry from arranging your days work to giving help and advice and we also have a dedicated parts department along with senior engineer managers.
We will give full Ariston training on all their products to the right candidates, so if you are looking to progress your skill sets we could be the right place for you. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This is a varied role, no day is ever the same.
Duties
- Working on gas appliances to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on gas systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty gas appliances, identifying issues accurately and efficiently.
- Perform some heavy lifting when necessary, moving equipment and materials as needed for installations or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and compliance documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Gas Boiler Breakdown Engineer.
- Ideally coming from a Plumbing background or holding LPG, OIL, Air Source, Unvented (G3) as well, although training can be given to the right candidates.
- A valid driving licence is required.
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting as required by the role.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks undertaken.
- Communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
