Job Summary -
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children to play and learn. Your role will involve supervising and interacting with children, organizing activities, and ensuring their well-being.
Duties -
Supervise children during playtime activities - Plan and organize age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities - Ensure the safety of all children by following established protocols and guidelines - Provide support and assistance to children with their needs - Encourage positive behavior and promote social interaction among children - Maintain a clean and tidy play area - Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress or any concerns.
Qualifications -
High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience working with children in a childcare or recreational setting is preferred - Knowledge of child development principles and practices - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment - Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children If you are passionate about working with children and creating a fun and nurturing environment for them to thrive, we would love to hear from you.
Timings and Locations -
Primary schools in Chesham.
7.30am-9am and then 2.45pm-6pm.
