Infrastructure Engineer Sr. SD-WAN Focus

This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint.
In a typical day, you will engineer PNC remote locations software defined (SDN) and L3 infrastructure networks.
We are looking for:
• Extensive knowledge in network routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
• Extensive experience with SD-WAN
• At least 10 years in data networking engineering preferred.
• Strong communication skills to form solid partnerships with PNC internal service partners (ATM, Retail) to work in support of service partner project efforts in all network communication genres (e.g., Internet, cellular, MPLS, future satellite, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with a team of network engineers.
• Proficient in Network Security Firewalls in support of network design efforts
• Proficient in Splunk in support of network design efforts
• Build, automate and secure a better network.
• HPE Aruba network design experience preferred.
• CISCO certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCDA) or equivalent.
• Experience with Spirent welcomed.
• Experience with CISCO DNAC/Catalyst Center welcomed.
• Experience with QoS design welcomed.
• Microsoft Excel with IP tools experience preferred.

- Provides expertise on platform engineering, while overseeing the team's effort and meeting customer needs. Uses technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions.
- Develops software components and hardware for complex projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.
- Provides expertise on best practices, standards, engineering approaches and complex technical resolutions for processes.
- Places emphasis on quality improvement efforts; ensures that deliverables are secure, scalable and reliable through estimation and correction.
- Communicates with customers and integrates their needs with development, to meet business objectives.
