Julian Charles are a family run business with over 75 years experience in soft furnishings, with over 100 shops and concessions throughout the UK

We are looking for a confident, energetic individual with customer service & retail experience to be part of our team must be computer literate

Summary

As an 12 Hour Temporary Store Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, providing essential support in maintaining the store's operations. With a focus on customer service and computer literacy, you will assist with various tasks such as restocking shelves, assisting customers, opening and closing the store, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced retail setting will be key to your success in this role. Join our team and contribute to delivering a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

- Assist customers with inquiries, purchases, and returns in a courteous and efficient manner.

- Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience.

- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.

-Open and close the store when required.

- Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly.

- Utilize computer systems for inventory management and product lookup.

- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills

- Proficiency in computer literacy

- Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
