We are seeking a
Community Investment Lead
to lead the creation and delivery of community investment and place journey strategies to support the successful delivery of regeneration and other development projects within the regional development programme.

You will be part of the wider SNG development team, helping to ensure we meet our ambitious targets in terms of housing delivery, together with our aspirations to create great places and highly sustainable new homes and neighbourhoods.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Creating and leading community investment strategies across a variety of regeneration and development projects using resident feedback to maximise social impact.
  • Development of effective working relationships with customers, operational partners, and other local stakeholders.
  • Liaising closely with colleagues in other teams as required within SNG to ensure the project objectives and priorities are delivered.
  • Ensuring that contractors and development partners community investment activity is of a high standard both across regeneration projects but other development schemes within the wider regional team.

What we're looking for:

  • Good communication skills both oral and written, tailored to a range of audiences.
  • Proven track record of community investment and relationship management.
  • A strong understanding of the requirements for community investment working in the social housing sector.
  • Experience in dealing sensitively with customers and applying good problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience of working collaboratively or in partnership with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of best practice in community investment.
  • Good organisational and project management skills.
  • Confident with budget management and financial systems.
