Locum Psychologist – CAMHS Service (South Gloucestershire)

We're seeking an experienced
Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
to join a friendly and supportive
CAMHS setting
in the South Gloucestershire area. This is a part-time locum role (3 days per week) within a service providing therapeutic input for
children and young people presenting with complex emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs
.
You'll be working within a multidisciplinary team of professionals who are passionate about improving outcomes for young people. The environment is structured, nurturing, and clinically led - ideal for a psychologist who values
formulation-driven practice
, collaborative working, and seeing the tangible difference their input makes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for young people.
- Provide consultation and advice to staff supporting the young people.
- Contribute to MDT discussions and care planning.
- Support service development and reflective practice.
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
- CAMHs experience desirable but mot essential
- Strong formulation and communication skills.
- Availability for 3 days per week (flexible scheduling available).
