As a Cover Supervisor in Aberystwyth, you will manage classrooms and support students without the pressure of planning lessons or grading homework. It is the perfect paid experience for future PGCE students or those looking for a rewarding career change.

Responsibilities:

Step in with enthusiasm by implementing prepared lesson plans when the class teacher is unavailable

Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management

Inspire and support students in their educational journey to promote active participation

Create a safe and welcoming space for all students

Adhere to school policies and procedures, including essential safeguarding measures

Share constructive feedback on lessons and student progress with the teaching team

Be flexible and adaptable to diverse classroom settings and subjects as required

Requirements
What We're Looking For:

Experience in working with children or young people in environments like education, coaching, or mentoring

Strong classroom management skills and great communication abilities

A proactive and adaptable attitude, ready to succeed in different school settings

Ability to inspire and motivate students

Enhanced DBS registration on the Update Service (or a desire to obtain one)

Eligibility to work in the UK

Registration with the EWC (or a willingness to complete the registration process)
