Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients in their search for an experienced Flooring Industry Contracts / Project Management Specialist to work from their offices in South Birmingham / Worcestershire.
Our clients are Contract Flooring Specialists and work with a nationwide customer base and are in search of an additional Project Manager to assist with their growth plans for 2023 and beyond. They have two HQs located in in Worcestershire (near the M42) and services a varied client base nationally, specialist areas they work on include:
* Hospitality Projects, Hotels, Pubs, Restaurants
* Office Refurbs * Retail
* Healthcare
These works vary from New Builds to fast-track refurbishment and they also have a reactive division.
They are one of the fastest growing in the Industry and have a projected turnover this year of £15mil.
You will be based from their Head Office in Worcestershire and will work on various projects from the office and through site visits and meetings as required.
You will be working with a firm where their people come first The job is full on and hard work but is a great environment to work in and they all "give a shit" (Their words)...

What do they need from you Technically?
1. Fast Track Contracting has to be in your blood
2. Strong and in-depth Contracting knowledge
3. A proactive, diligent and forward-thinking approach – you're dynamic and will be unwavering in achieving both personal and business success.
4. First-class leadership skills – you can delegate, prioritise workloads, run productive meetings and be a role model for others.
5. Minimum 4 years experience in Management
6. Risk management
You will need experience in delivering Projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Reporting to the Group Head of Contracts. You will work closely with the business to ensure that any part of the front-end project department supports the growth plans by providing insight into project work completed & analysing weaknesses or failures and making sure there is a plan in place to mitigate this moving forward.
To be successful in this role, you MUST have :
* Experience in delivering several similar large or small-scale projects at the same time while always staying calm and collected.
* Be professional in demanding situations.
* The ability to build robust relationships with customers, consultants and suppliers – relationships that will raise our profile and open new business opportunities.
* A strong commercial awareness – you will know how to deliver profit without sacrificing quality or compromising on our company values.
* Excellent communication and people management skills – you will not be afraid to address difficult issues, you can motivate a team and you're able to influence outcomes.
* A flair for multitasking, for looking at the bigger picture and for providing excellent attention to detail.
* Used to delivering successful installations on multiple fronts to cost and to a consistently high standard.
* Happy to Travel as part of the role.
