Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and hospitality, with exceptional leadership skills to manage a dynamic team. This role requires a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service in a vibrant café environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily café operations, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.
- Manage food production processes, including cooking and preparation of menu items.
- Lead, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service while fostering a positive team environment.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Develop and implement new menu items in collaboration with the culinary team.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or café industry.
- Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking.
- Background in hospitality management or related fields is preferred.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen environments.
- Experience as a barista or knowledge of coffee preparation is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike.
