Wind Turbine Technician – London – Contract

Our client is a leading developer in the industry, owning and developing projects across all major and emerging offshore wind markets. They are now recruiting with a superb new opportunity for a Wind Turbine Technician to join them based in London.

With a significant track record of successfully delivering projects and a vast project pipeline across the UK, Europe and emerging international markets, this is an incredibly exciting time to join them in their current project.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive safety culture, contribute to the Ops Team delivering its Health & Safety objectives.
  • Carryout maintenance and servicing of wind turbines, including servicing, reactive and proactive maintenance, inspections, retrofits and main component exchanges
  • Proactively assist in all areas of site operations, working on projects, spares and other non-routine works

Skills and experience:

  • Proven wind turbine technician experience, related to O&M OR similar Heavy Industrial background, ideally experienced in multi-system complex fault finding
  • A sound understanding of HSSE systems, to establish a safe work environment, including team leadership skills
  • Existing WTSR Authorisations such as Competent Technician or Authorised Technician knowledge of similar Safe Systems of Work
  • Excellent Teamwork & Communication Skills.
