Support Worker – Specialist Supported Living

Location: Harrogate (Town Centre)

Salary: £12.27 per hour, plus great benefits

Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Casual options available

Avalon Group is opening a brand-new supported living service in the heart of Harrogate, and we're looking for caring, motivated people to join us on this exciting journey. This is a brilliant opportunity to help shape a new service from day one, supporting people with learning disabilities, autistic people and individuals with mental health needs to live truly fulfilling, gloriously ordinary lives.

About the role

As a Support Worker, you will:

· Work alongside people to achieve their goals, build confidence and develop daily living skills

· Support people with personal care, medication, emotional wellbeing and routines that promote independence

· Build meaningful relationships and create a warm, supportive home environment

· Enable people to access their community, try new things and take positive steps in their lives

· Work collaboratively with families, professionals and your team

· Play a vital role in shaping a brand-new supported living service based on excellent practice

Every day will be purposeful, varied and centred around what matters to the person.

About you

You don't need previous experience — just kindness, reliability and the desire to make a difference. Full training and ongoing development will be provided.

You'll be a great fit if you are:
