Set in an area of outstanding Natural Beauty on the glorious North Norfolk Coast, Blakeney is a beautiful village that effortlessly captures the hearts of all who visit. Friary Farm Caravan Park is a large owner occupied, Static Caravan Park on the edge of the village overlooking Friary Hills.

We are part of the Orchard Caravan Leisure Group whom operate at Wells-Next-The-Sea and have over 50 years of expertise in the caravan industry. A family run business specialising in all things static caravan related.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Grounds Maintenance person to work as part of the small team at Friary Farm. You will be required to work 40 hours a week Monday – Friday all year round.

The successful applicant will ideally have an NVQ level 2 or City and Guilds certificate in horticulture or equivalent grounds maintenance qualification OR substantial experience within a similar commercial grounds maintenance role.

The following is intended to provide guidance as to duties, however is not exhaustive. You will be required to undertake other duties as directed by management of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities.

Specific duties will include:

· Assist the team with all aspects of grounds maintenance.

· Soft and hard landscaping as necessary

· Operate all grounds maintenance equipment

· Operate specialist equipment as necessary

· Basic building / maintenance skills essential to assist with property restorations within the park

· Perform daily / weekly machine maintenance checks as required and completion of all records

· Delivery and connection of gas cylinders to caravans as required

· Essential horticulture knowledge

· Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload

· Liaise with other team members and management on a regular basis

· Adhere to company policies including Health and Safety

· Ideally candidates will possess PA1 & PA6- pesticide application licences or be prepared to complete this training and use a knapsack sprayer

· Full training will be given where necessary

Personal Qualities

· Full, clean driving licence essential – addition of towing on licence desirable

· Flexible and adaptable

· Able to work as part of a team as well as alone

· Able to work in all weathers that the UK seasons bring us

· Pro-active and self-motivated

· A passion to maintain the park, house and cottage grounds to a very high standard is essential

· You must have the right to live and work in the UK

· Good sense of humour
