SEND Teaching Assistant | Waltham Forest | Immediate Start

Do you have the patience, empathy and determination to support young people with SEND? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity to become a SEND Teaching Assistant. Are you ready to make a real difference to students with SEND, including those with Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or who are non-verbal?

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Waltham Forest that is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated SEN Department. This is a long-term SEND Teaching Assistant role starting immediately.

SEND Teaching Assistant | The Role
Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant in the school's SEN Department
Immediate start - role through to July 2026
£444-£513 per week (PAYE, term-time only, incl. holiday pay)
Support students with high and complex needs including Autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and non-verbal communication
Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs
