About The Opportunity
The role is a key position within the business, ensuring compliance to the quality management system and certifications, supporting the quality manager, we are looking for a highly motivated proactive quality professional to help drive the business forward, maintain and expand the current management certifications across all lines of business across the Nuclear and non-nuclear industry sectors.
- The role will be working closely with the Quality Manager
- Manage the management procedures and ensure they are in line with the corporate procedures and processes.
- Manage the Supply Chain Quality, inclusive of all pre-qualification assessments, supply chain audits, supply chain performance and general day-to-day management of the supply chain. Monitor the selection of and management systems of suppliers and subcontractors as part of Vendor assessment, to assure the company and its customers of the competence of suppliers and subcontractors
- Management the reporting of Project Improvements Notices, Defects and Non-Conformances to enable continuous improvement. Assist with resolution of any Quality related issues arising liaising with internal and external parties as necessary.
- Generation of Quality Documentation to support Sub-contract, suppliers and onsite installations
Here's What You'll Need
- Experience in Quality Assurance, preferably from a CE&I in an Engineers role and HNC qualified in CE&I
- Experience of working on Nuclear, sites is preferable but not essential
- Internal and lead auditor qualifications and experience of carrying out Internal, External and Supplier audits
- Experience of continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Able to interact and influence at all levels in the organisation and in Clients/Third party organisations
- Ability to prioritise task execution in the context of tight programme constraints
- Familiar with C&G 18th Edition Regs and C&G Inspection and Testing
- Some design experience or design verification is desirable
Any offer of employment will be strictly subject to the relevant security requirements for the role being met. This means that you will need to have, or be able to obtain, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. The security clearance process may require non-British nationals or dual nationals (i.e. those with British and another nationality) to be subject to additional evaluation, depending on nationalities held and the nature of the work to be carried out.
