Role Overview:

As a Line Leader, you will oversee daily operations on the assembly line, ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. As a key leader on the floor, you will coordinate team activities, monitor quality standards, and uphold safety protocols to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

· The smooth running of the production line on a shift basis.

· Ensuring that the targets are met.

· Ensuring nil downtime is achieved through a proactive approach.

· Ensuring hygiene, quality and safety standards are met.

· To set up and always manage the production lines to achieve plan.

· To organise the supply and use of all materials to the line.

· To monitor material usage ensuring no under/overweight finished product.

· Complete necessary records and paperwork.

· Keep lines clean and tidy to comply with best practice and ensure staff adhere to personal hygiene rules.

· To control, organise, train, motivate and communicate with operatives on the line.

· To ensure health and safety standards are always maintained.

· To be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

· The ability to problem solve and employ critical thinking.

· Have great communication skills.

· To a competent level needed to complete numerate and literate tasks and duties.

· Ability to lead by example.

· Ability to delegate tasks.

· Have an eye for detail.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

· Experience gained in manufacturing.

· Understanding of Health and Safety guidelines .

· Team Leader or Line Leader experience in a previous role
