Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Structural Designer. Based in Wilmslow, this position offers flexibility to work remotely part of the time. The Senior Structural Designer will focus on creating detailed construction drawings, developing innovative structural designs, reviewing and optimizing projects, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards in line with SOW.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities and effective coordination with both internal teams and external clients or stakeholders. Must be able to manage client accounts and grow through outreach.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Construction Drawings and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
  • Strong expertise in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles
  • Specialized skills in Steel Design and related structural materials
  • Excellent analytical thinking and a detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments and communicate clearly with clients
  • Familiarity with current industry codes, regulations, and standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with professional accreditation preferred
  • Experience managing and delivering diverse projects across multiple construction sectors
  • must have car and use for inspection visits and be UK resident.
