Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Queenswood, located in Hertfordshire to perform a variety of cleaning tasks as directed by the cleaning Supervisor/ Manager.

In this vital role, you will contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our students and staff, aligning with our commitment to excellence in education.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks in classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary supplies and materials.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school premises.
  • Assist with laundry services as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to support school events and activities.
  • Uphold the school's values through respectful interaction with students and staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and products.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus.
  • Knowledge of COSHH, Manual Handling, Slips Trips and Falls is a plus.
