What does the role involve?

Joining the Portfolio Risk Team, you will help develop and maintain models and tools used for provisioning, forecasting, and pricing, in addition to creating effective MI shared across the business for the purpose of monitoring and managing the risk of our portfolio. This is a hybrid role where you will be working 2 days from our Leeds office.

Some Of Your Key Duties Will Include

• Pro-actively identify improvements to the Novuna Consumer Finance credit risk strategy, scorecards and financial models to improve profitability and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Deliver predictability and control of bad debt performance to a planned level of loss
• Analysing the changes in our economy e.g. cost of living to evaluate future impacts
• Provide timely and accurate data and analytics to inform Novuna Consumer Finance Credit and Business Strategy

What are we looking for?

You'll have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy diving into problems to uncover insights and develop thoughtful recommendations. Naturally curious, you won't hesitate to seek out the answers you need. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to explain complex, technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

Also, We're Looking For The Following

• Experience working with SAS, SQL, Python and Databricks would be highly advantageous, along with proficiency in Power BI to effectively present and visualise data insights
• Capable of analysing data and presenting insights in a clear and easily understandable manner
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively
• Ability to work independently and on your own initiative
