Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all areas are kept tidy and presentable, contributing to a positive environment for both employees and clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Dispose of waste materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
