Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to provide high-quality home care services to our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting individuals with their daily needs, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring all needs are met with compassion and professionalism
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and meal preparation
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and wellbeing within their own homes
- Document care provided accurately and report any changes in the client's condition to relevant healthcare professionals
- Build trusting relationships through effective communication and active listening
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines and infection control procedures
- Utilise IT systems to update records and communicate effectively with team members
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them diligently
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Driving licence is preferred for roles involving client transportation but is not mandatory for all positions
