We are recruiting for X2 Positions
This role is a night shift working role.
Overview Of Project/role
Reporting to a Comms DLO Work Controller and is responsible for ensuring that the Comms DLO Assets are maintained and delivered into service in a safe and timely manner. In addition to this, is to support other LUL business units whenever instructed to by their Line Manager.

Key Accountabilities
The job holder must be committed to LUL's General Safety Policy statement and the Company's safety programme and be aware of his/her contribution to the programme, including the requirement to monitor safety performance and compliance with the systems established to assist in maintaining high safety standards.

The jobholder must be familiar with the safety legislation that is relevant to his/her post and comply with the necessary statutory requirements. These will include the Health & Safety at Work Act, Fire Precautions Act 1971 and associated regulations.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of maintenance in an engineering discipline
  • Working knowledge of LU Comms equipment associated with the maintenance techniques supportive of the Technical Capability testing functions.
  • A basic knowledge of Inspection and Testing Techniques
  • Experience in maintenance of PAVA & LFEPA systems
  • Completed apprenticeship in a related engineering discipline
  • Clear and concise report writing.

Experience

  • IRSE license category or up to date log book to show progress on attaining licence.
  • Depot/Track Competent Desirable
  • Protection Master (Traffic & Or Eng. Hours) Desirable
  • Site Person in Charge (Track & Non-Track) Desirable
  • Lifts and Escalators Entry Permit Desirable
  • Full Driving Licence Desirable
