What you'll do

The role of UC Acceleration TDA at Vodafone Business Security Enhanced (VBSE) involves driving the growth of the VBSE Unified Communications portfolio by providing technical oversight and collaborating across teams to develop industry-leading solutions for the UK public sector.

  • Proof of Concept: Assist our pre-sales teams in demonstrating innovative solutions.
  • Bid Support: Support complex bids providing early risk identification and bridging stakeholder gaps.
  • Customer UC Demo Suite: Develop and manage the customer UC Demo suite.
  • UC Advocacy: Champion UC within the department to encourage adoption.
  • Expert technical support: Provide support to VBSE projects (third line)

Who you are

  • UC Solution Design: Experience with on-premises CUCM, SIP Trunking, IP Telephony, and Secure Gateway solutions.
  • Security and Compliance: Familiarity with concepts like PKI, 802.1x, and end-to-end encryption (including Next Generation Encryption).
  • Cross Team collaboration: Experience working across teams developing technical solutions.
  • Network Architecture: Understanding of network architecture and design, including QoS and LAN technologies.
  • Cloud Solutions Awareness: Knowledge of cloud solutions such as Teams/Webex
  • Related professional qualification e.g., CCNP Voice/ experience in a similar role
  • Proven service provider professional experience with an architectural or senior design/development role
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain enhanced security clearance.
