A creative and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher with a focus on Electronics is required to join an Outstanding mixed school in Haringey for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged to develop their understanding of electronic principles and their application in design and technology projects.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Design & Technology Teacher lessons focusing on Electronics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop students' skills in electronic theory, circuit design, and practical construction.
  • Foster a stimulating and innovative learning environment that encourages problem-solving and creativity in electronics.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Design & Technology (Electronics), providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design & Technology or a related field with strong electronics knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Design & Technology Teacher lessons with a focus on Electronics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • A strong understanding of electronic principles, components, and circuit design.
  • Excellent communication and practical skills, capable of inspiring students' interest in electronics.
