Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our venue, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, as well as the ability to respond effectively to any incidents that may arise.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
  • Utilise CCTV systems to oversee the venue and assist in investigations when necessary.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.
  • Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of all individuals on site.
  • Enforce venue policies and procedures, addressing any issues or conflicts with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary, maintaining clear communication regarding any incidents.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a security or supervisory role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
  • Proficiency in operating CCTV equipment and understanding its functionality.
  • First aid certification is highly desirable; candidates should be prepared to respond to medical emergencies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
