Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dry Liner to join our construction team for work starting Monday 17th November 2025.

Job description; Installing Walls/Ceiling Linings, Taping and Jointing on a residential building.

To apply for this position, you will need the following:

  • Valid CSCS Card (Drylining fixing NVQ)

  • UTR number

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, and install plasterboard and other dry lining materials according to project specifications
  • Fix boards securely using appropriate hand tools and power tools
  • Tape, skim, and finish joints to achieve smooth surfaces ready for painting or decorating
  • Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and building regulations
  • Assist with the preparation of surfaces, including fixing battens or framing where necessary
  • Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers to ensure seamless project progression
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the project lifecycle
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to accurately execute installations

Skills

  • Proven experience in dry lining or related construction trades such as plastering, carpentry, or masonry
  • Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, and construction painting is advantageous
  • Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, drills, trowels) and power tools (e.g., screw guns, cutters)
  • Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately
  • Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and regulations
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
  • Physical fitness to handle lifting, bending, and working at heights if required
