Are you a proactive Credit Controller with a passion for driving results and building strong stakeholder relationships? Join a dynamic Finance team supporting high-performing colleagues in a UK based businessThis is a front-line opportunity to make a real impact on working capital management, debt recovery, and revenue optimisation. You'll work closely with the Credit Manager and collaborate across departments to deliver strategic credit control solutionsKey Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain key client relationships to support timely recovery
  • Lead regular reviews and proactive chasing of outstanding debts
  • Deliver detailed debtor analysis and ensure SLA compliance
  • Work with stakeholders resolve issues and develop recovery strategies
  • Support reconciliations and ad hoc financial reporting
  • Escalate problem debts in line with policy and drive resolution
  • Hit monthly cash collection and ageing targets
  • Champion best practices using finance systems
  • Facilitate internal meetings to align on working capital strategy
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and policies

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in credit control within professional services
    (insurance or legal is a MUST)
  • Strong commercial collections background and financial controls knowledge
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Self-starter with a flexible, positive attitude
  • Collaborative team player with a growth mindset
