Overview:

We are working on behalf of a respected law firm in Winchester to recruit a full-time Legal Secretary for their busy Residential & Commercial Property team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established practice known for delivering high-quality legal advice across a broad range of property matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Typing from dictation and producing legal documents and reports

  • Preparing quotations, Land Registry forms, and other property-related documentation

  • Handling incoming calls and client enquiries professionally

  • Setting up payments and verifying bank details

  • Acting as the first point of contact for the team

  • Managing diaries and ensuring file compliance

  • General administrative duties including filing and document management

About You:

  • Trained in secretarial practice with strong audio-typing skills

  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Proactive, flexible, and confident in taking ownership of your work

  • Previous experience in residential or commercial property law is highly desirable
