About the Role

Our client, a leading UK business, is urgently seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Contractor to provide short-term technical support and development cover.

This role has arisen unexpectedly and is critical to maintaining the stability of their D365 environment following the departure of their in-house SME. You'll take ownership of day-to-day maintenance, support, and platform updates while longer-term recruitment is underway.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical support and maintenance of D365 F&O environments
  • Perform platform updates, code drops, and manage release activities
  • Review and understand customised code and batch jobs
  • Work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and optimise performance
  • Ensure continuity of service and contribute to knowledge transfer

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven background as a D365 F&O Technical Consultant / Developer
  • Strong hands-on experience in D365 F&O support and development
  • Confident performing code reviews and managing customised environments
  • Experience managing platform updates and deployments
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills (Not Essential)

  • Experience with Atlas (data integration/reporting tool)
  • Familiarity with C#, .NET, and Azure
