Job title: First Contact Practitioner (Physiotherapist)
Hours: 17 hours per week (Monday, Tuesdays and alternate Saturdays)
We have an exciting opportunity for a First Contact Practitioner (Physiotherapist) to join our Tonbridge Primary Care team.
About the Role
As a First Contact Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting patients. Offering care, rehabilitation, and therapeutic pathways for patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive triages and manage both common and complex MSK conditions at the first point of contact within primary care.
- Perform physiotherapy assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for acute and chronic injuries.
- Apply advanced clinical reasoning to form accurate diagnoses and management plans, including further investigations, lifestyle changes, and rehabilitation advice.
- Refer patients to secondary care, physiotherapy services, or other members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) as necessary.
- Provide professional and effective advice to patients and caregivers.
- Ensure all patient records are maintained and updated in a timely and accurate manner.
What we're looking for

You will also need to:
- Valid HCPC registration and CSP membership.
- BSc in Physiotherapy.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified Physiotherapist.
- Minumum of 3 years' MSK experience
- Strong communication, time management, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to two site coverage).
- Enhanced DBS check
