What You'll Be Doing

Join TXP as a Full Stack Developer, working on client-facing projects within internal or customer development teams. You'll focus on backend development using Java and Spring, with some frontend work in React or JavaScript/TypeScript. You'll be hands-on across the full development lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy, within Agile sprints.

You'll collaborate with customers, delivery partners, and colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions that meet real-world needs.

What We're Looking For

We're after a developer who's confident with Java and comfortable working across the stack. You'll be proactive, quality-focused, and able to explain technical ideas clearly.

  • Java (1.6/1.8), Spring Framework
  • React or modern JS/TS frameworks
  • REST APIs, Oracle PL/SQL
  • Microservices, Maven, Docker/Kubernetes
  • Agile/Scrum experience
  • Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), TDD/CI
  • Azure or AWS
  • Bash/Linux scripting
  • SOA, component-based development
  • Exposure to technical architecture

You'll Fit Right In If You:

  • Have a strong eye for detail and quality
  • Communicate well with technical and non-technical teams
  • Are self-motivated, organised, and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Enjoy solving problems and sharing knowledge

What Success Looks Like

  • Delivering clean, scalable code that meets client needs
  • Meeting deadlines without compromising quality
  • Building trusted relationships with customers and teammates
  • Taking ownership in sprints and contributing to team success
  • Helping raise the technical bar across the team

Benefits:

  • 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
  • An additional day of paid leave for your birthday (or Christmas eve).
  • Salary sacrifice, matched employer contributed pension (4%).
  • Life assurance (3x).
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
  • Private medical insurance through our partner Aviva.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Corporate eye-care vouchers.
  • Access to an independent financial advisor.
  • 2 x social value days per year to give back to local communities.
