Established in 1990, our modern, contemporary salon offers everything for Ladies, Gents and Children's hairdressing. We are an extremely busy salon with a wide variety of clients, making this a really exciting opportunty for someone wanting to get into the industry.

The salon offersa range of treatments, including colourings, organic colourings, permanent waves and our top quality salon features Shiatsu massage chairs. We have a vast range of products including products from Joico, GHD, Fudge, Organic, Moroccan Oil and Olaplex.

As part of your role you will be trained in the following area;

• Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp
• Cut hair using a range of techniques to create a variety of looks
• Style and finish hair using a range of techniques to create a variety of looks
• Colour and lighten hair using a range of techniques

You will also be expected to support other stylists within the salon, work on reception, booking clients in and taking payments. Cleaning will be an important part of your role and making sure clients are looked after from the moment they enter the salon.

Hairdressers must be able to work with all hair types ranging from straight hair to very curly, wiry hair. They also need to be able to carry out consultations with clients, demonstrate the professionalism, values, behaviours, communication skills and safe working practices associated with their role and be able to work without supervision to a high level of precision, with exceptional client care skills.

35.5 hours per week including college
