We pride ourselves on consistency, creativity, and a positive kitchen culture. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Kitchen Assistant Chef to join our kitchen teams.

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant at Rainbowls, you will operate as a hands-on kitchen assistant, responsible for food preparation, service execution, and maintaining high culinary and hygiene standards. This role suits someone with chef experience who enjoys a fast-paced, daytime kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and plating Rainbowls menu items to a high standard
  • Ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes
  • Handeling menu prep, batch prep, and daily kitchen organisation
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene, allergen awareness, and safety standards
  • Assisting with stock control, rotation, and ordering
  • Working efficiently during busy service while leading by example
  • Supporting other team members

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Chef, Commis Chef, or Kitchen Assistant with strong cooking skills
  • Solid understanding of food hygiene, allergens, and kitchen safety
  • Calm and organised under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Passion for fresh, healthy food
