Summary

The candidate will work in a dynamic team responsible for driving the design of the next generation of wireless systems with emphasis in AI/ML driven virtualization, decomposition and relocation of system functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Masters, or PhD in electrical engineering and computer science, or equivalent Strong analytical and research skills, including detailed system analysis with focus on Programmable Networking Architectures, Routing and forwarding and Cloud Networking function Proficiency in 5G 3GPP Wireless Standards, including Architecture and System Procedures Identify technology gaps and innovation opportunities Prepare technology publications and white papers The candidate may be asked to travel occasionally to other InterDigital premises, conferences or industry fairs Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in design and implementation of networking system with knowledge of high level programming languages such as Java, Golang, C/C++ and Python
